The Town of Longboat Key is proud to announce the successful completion of its Six Sigma White and Yellow Belt training programs, designed to enhance process improvement, accountability, and efficiency across municipal operations.
- White Belt Training: 64 Town staff participated, gaining foundational Six Sigma knowledge and skills.
 - Yellow Belt Training: 32 Town staff completed advanced training, equipping them to identify and implement process improvements in their departments.

The program is already generating enthusiasm and engagement across departments. Participants are applying Six Sigma tools to real-world challenges and projects. Selected employees will advance to Green Belt training, further strengthening the Town’s culture of continuous improvement.

Following the impact sustained from Hurricanes Helene and Milton, the city formed the Oldsmar Support Services Alliance to coordinate the recovery efforts of various community organizations. The alliance started as an informal sharing of resources but evolved into a structured partnership, bringing together organizations and community leaders to support residents in the most efficient and effective way possible.
