Quality Cities (QC) magazine focuses on stories that spotlight Florida cities, celebrate their impact on our quality of life and inspire city leaders to advocate for local voices making local choices. QC, established in 1928, is published twice a year by the Florida League of Cities.
This online magazine showcases even more successful community projects and initiatives taking place in Florida’s cities year-round. The magazine fits the evolving needs of Florida’s cities by focusing content in four main categories:
FLORIDA CITIES
Spotlighting Florida’s cities and the unique experiences they provide their communities.
This section includes stories that highlight recognition cities have received, facts that make each individual city unique and city solutions that municipalities have implemented in their communities.
CITY LEADERS
Recognizing the people behind Florida’s cities and their devoted service to the public.
This section features stories that spotlight city leaders, honor past leaders’ legacies and highlight recognition received by city leaders.
ADVOCACY
Showcasing how local voices are advocating for and making local choices in Florida’s cities.
This section offers stories showcasing how city officials make their voices heard through advocacy and provides examples of local choices in action through local decision-making.
CITY SERVICES
Highlighting the city programs and services that contribute to Florida residents’ quality of life.
This section focuses on how cities keep their communities active, through parks and recreation; inspired, by arts and culture; going, with infrastructure; and safe, with health and safety services.
