Customers who shop locally at participating Port St. Lucie businesses have a new and rewarding experience.

The City of Port St. Lucie launched the Open Rewards program on November 20, 2023. Open Rewards is a free, easy-to-use smartphone app allowing shoppers to earn cash-back rewards from participating retailers and restaurants.

Open Rewards continues the City’s commitment to supporting local businesses and growing the community’s economy. In 2021, the City launched Open for Business, a free online tool that allows businesses to promote services for new and existing customers.

Local retail stores and restaurants registered with the City’s Open for Business tool will be featured in Open Rewards at no cost. Eligible Port St. Lucie businesses wishing to participate can register online.

Using the app is easy for shoppers:

• Customers download the Open Rewards app and create a free account.
• After shopping at a participating business, customers earn 5% of their purchase amount and claim their rewards through the app.
• They can then redeem awards through their selected payment method in their Open Rewards account.

It’s a win-win for our community.”
