The Florida League of Cities (FLC) recently won an ADDY award from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) for the League’s “Quality of Life PSA Campaign.”

In addition to sharing the public service announcements (PSAs) with League members to use on their platforms, the League did a paid advertising push to ensure that millions of Floridians connected with this campaign. The campaign realized more than 1.3 million impressions on Facebook and more than 1.1 million impressions on both Instagram and YouTube.

The series of PSAs highlights the variety of services offered by cities of all sizes across Florida. The premise is that city services are woven into the fabric of our lives. They emphasize that our cities are responsible for the services we’ve come to rely on: parks and trails, beaches, festivals, firefighters and police, recreation centers and libraries. Different videos are targeted for cities, towns and villages. Alternative language videos are available in Spanish and Creole. Also, 15-second PSAs are available. To view or download the PSAs, go to psa.flcities.com.

The American Advertising Awards is the industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 25,000 entries annually in local AAF Club competitions. The awards aim to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
