
The City of North Port’s Business Attraction and Development Administrator has been recognized for her recent achievement in economic development education. Vinicia “Vinnie” Mascarenhas was selected as one of the recipients of the prestigious Certificate in Workforce Development Fundamentals program, jointly offered by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Foundation.
“We have so many opportunities to be excited about in North Port, from new industrial and commercial developments to a blossoming healthcare industry that will create thousands of new jobs and strategic initiatives with our workforce partners,” Mascarenhas said. “I look forward to using this enhanced expertise to continue bringing our community’s economic development initiatives to life.”
This recognition underscores Mascarenhas’ dedication to enhancing her skills and expertise in economic and workforce development.
As a member of the City’s Economic Development team, Mascarenhas’ participation in this program aligns with North Port’s commitment to fostering a thriving economy and creating meaningful employment opportunities for residents.
