The Treasure Island Fire Rescue (TIFR) department recently held a Story Walk in celebration of Fire Prevention Week. The book chosen was “Fiery Fox” by Teresa Davis. Families moved around Treasure Island Community Park with TIFR crews. There was a path to follow to read the displayed book. Along the way, visitors found fun educational tables, fittings of firefighter gear in children’s sizes and giveaways.
The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont. It was developed in collaboration with the Kellog-Hubbard Library.
