The Institute established the AEP to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. This annual award is earned by those organizations that obtain a high score based on criteria designed to measure innovation, professionalism, productivity, e-procurement and leadership attributes.
The application is designed to recognize innovative programs and solutions. The award not only focuses on practical, documented work but also recognizes leadership and contributions that further advance the profession. All size cities, counties, school districts, states, special districts and universities are eligible.
