After 33 years with the City of Boca Raton and 24 years as City Manager, Leif Ahnell retired on December 31, 2023. According to a statement from the City, “Under his leadership, Boca Raton has overcome challenges, achieved significant progress, and has shaped the city into a vibrant coastal community offering world-class municipal services and a well-planned path to a sustainable future.”
