The Florida League of Mayors (FLM), an organization for Florida’s mayors, founded and developed by Florida’s mayors, announced the winners of its 2024 Mayors Municipal Innovation Awards. The winners are:
- City of Bowling Green, Mayor N’Kosi L. Jones – Quality of Life Award for Bench Dedication Program for Community Remembrance
- City of South Bay, Mayor Joe Kyles Sr. – Service Delivery Improvement Award for Minor Home Repair
- City of Tamarac, Mayor Michelle J. Gomez – Quality of Life Award for Shine Tamarac
“The Mayors Municipal Innovation Awards celebrate municipalities that exemplify creativity and efficiency in addressing community needs,” said FLM Past President Scott Brook, Mayor of Coral Springs. “Each winner has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the lives of residents through innovative projects that set a standard for municipal excellence.”
The Mayors Municipal Innovation Awards aims to highlight and share creative initiatives that improve municipal governance and benefit residents.
