The Town of Cutler Bay recently celebrated the grand re-opening of the renovated Saga Bay Park Tennis and Pickleball Courts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The $54,000 project resurfaced two tennis courts and converted others into six pickleball courts.

The project significantly enhances Saga Bay Park’s recreational facilities. Vice Mayor Michael Callahan expressed his pride in the project. “This renovation has been a long time coming, originating from discussions in the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. I am incredibly proud of how swiftly the Town completed this project, showcasing efficient government at work. I would like to acknowledge the support from the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, Town staff and the Town Council, who worked together to make this a reality in record time.”

The grand re-opening celebration saw a large turnout of residents, and members of local pickleball associations were among the first to play on the new courts. The event highlighted the community’s support and enthusiasm for improved recreational facilities.

The Town extends special thanks to the Parks and Recreation Department for its dedication and hard work and to Lily AzelUSA Pickleball Miami Ambassador, for her contributions.
